130°C Steam sanitises the surface being cleaned and kills bed mites, dust mites fleas, flea eggs and bacteria. It destroys allergens and using only clean water removes the residual traces of harsh chemical cleaners that can affect the chemically sensitive.

This ultra efficient cleaning combines the best of both cleaning methods, and is the preferred method for your regular cleaning routine.

High temperature dry steam is forced onto the surface to be cleaned, penetrating deeply into carpets and upholstery, breaking down grime and emulsifying fats and oils.  It is then immediately sucked up by the powerful vacuum and deposited in the water filter for easy disposal later.  Finally the air passes through a fine Hepa filter before exhausting the cleaner.  The SV230 cleans and freshens the air as you vacuum.

The control panel on the front of the unit has indicator lights to tell you when:

• The power is switched on
• The water in the boiler is low
• Steam is ready in the boiler
• The boiler is switched on

There are on/off switches for the vacuum function and the boiler.  A suction power control feature  operates by electronically varying the speed of the motor.

The vacuum controls are duplicated on the vacuum control handle for ease of use and the vacuum control handle also has a steam trigger to switch the steam function on and off.
