Paint designed for application to ceramic wall tiles which is easy to use
with no requirement for a primer. Once spray is dry, use the Plasti-kote Grout
Pen to re-define the grout lines.
Application tips
How to
Ensure surface is dry and free from wax, mould, grease, oil, soap deposits
and lime scale using a scouring pad and suitable tile cleaner. Rinse well and
allow to dry. Mask surrounding area on which dust may settle with newspaper or
dustsheets. Shake the can for two minutes after hearing the rattle of the mixing
ball. Always test on a small inconspicuous area to ensure adhesion prior to
spraying. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Hold can
300 mm from surface while spraying and move can from side to side, holding can
parallel to the surface. Several thin coats produce a better finish than one
heavy coat; allow 15 - 20 minutes between coats, shaking the can in between
coats. After use invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.
Drying time
Touch dry in 30-40 minutes, thoroughly dry in 24 hours. Avoid contact with
water for 72 hours after application.
